Lucy writes: "In the Caribbean, batty refers to one’s bottom … Jawole Willa Jo Zollar (of Urban Bush Women) created ‘Batty Moves’ as a paean to the female pelvis and the captivating
properties of the buttocks.
This evening will feature some of that performance’s highlights and will encourage dialog to examine complicated issues of race, class and social inequities, beauty and sexism. Women and men of all ages are welcome."

YWCA of Brooklyn (30 Third Ave. at Atlantic Ave.), Tuesday, March 29. "A Batty Party" starts at 7:00 pm.
