“Can anyone recommend a pick-up/drop-off laundry service other than Bubbleworks that serves Prospect Heights?”
“Though generally satisfied with their service, I feel like they set their driers to ‘surface of the sun’ temperature levels. Frequently, clothes that I’ve owned and had laundered for months or years come back from B’works noticeably smaller…”
“I’ve seen laundry.bz mentioned before on this site — can anyone chime in about them? I like that they offer low-temp drying (for an extra charge), but i’m wary of a place without a storefront and with a somewhat non-professional looking website.”

Yeah! Ali’s on St. Johns by Washington!!! Leroy, (the guy with the long hair) is the best!
I think the quality of Bubbleworks service has gone down recently. Too bad since they used to be really great. They have missed a couple of my deliveries.
Laundry.bz lost some of my clothes. They are very nice but seem fairly disorganized.
I’m under the impression that Laundry.bz operates their company quite shadily. They claim that they don’t serve Prospect Heights past Washington Ave because of parking issues in the area (even if the address is the very corner of Washington on the other side), but that makes no sense. The side streets of Eastern Pkway are a lot easier to navigate than the streets of Brooklyn Heights, yet they won’t hesitate to serve that neighborhood. You have to wonder whether it’s really traffic or just cultural/socio-economic prejudice (it gets a lot more “Jewish” and Black as you go further east).
