An Englishman in New York reports: “So there I am, happily typing away when I hear a clip-clopping outside the window. It’s only a bloody cowboy riding down the street.”

That’s interesting, because when I exited the 7th Avenue subway station last night, I saw a giant pile of horse poo. I wondered where that came from…
The photo was taken on Park Place. Unfortunately, I only grabbed a shot as he was riding away, but the horse had stopped to scratch an itch it by rubbing its face on a parked car.
And yep — I saw the poo too 🙂
I once saw a horse parked outside Sepia on Underhill off Lincoln. You may need to add an Alternate Side Horse Parking section to dailyheights.
These guys are sooo cool. I usually see 3 of them quite often in the summertime. They go to Dean Street Cafe and tie the horses up outside. I took my son over to see the horses and one of the guys let him sit on one. They offered him one free riding lesson in Prospect Park.
I saw this cowboy and a his cowgirlfriend clip clopping down Underhill more than once last summer. I was, and remain, completely mystefied.
