If you can read this, you’ve made it to the new home of DAILYHEIGHTS. If you bookmarked or linked to the old Typepad site, please update! That site will be going dark very, very soon.
What do you think of the new layout? Please give some feedback below.
UPDATE: The comments pages are now readable. “Recent Comments” are activated. What else?
UPDATE to UPDATE: I just rebuilt the entire database… argh. Does the Events Calendar work for anybody?
I think it looks much better! My only suggestion would be to make it more obvious that the navigation on top (Message Boards | Stoop Sales/Swap/Free etc) is indeed navigation links.
Also, I just noticed that when you type a comment it’s all sorts of fucked up. Everything is appearing the right column.
Hi there! Thanks for the link.
Right now, in Ffox 1.0, this comments area is appearing *below* the request for donations and the Proho list in the right sidebar, rather than in the middle of the page.
Also, I sort of miss the thing that showed what the most recent comments where. That seems more useful than a list of recent posts (which you can see for yourself by scrolling down). Sometimes discussion seems to take place on posts that aren’t the most recent, and I wouldn’t see that without the list of most recent comments.
The general design looks good. So, where’s my kitten?
The site looks nice. I would suggest making blog entry text black instead of gray. I think its gray, isn’t it?
It is, and it is hard to read, isn’t it? It’s a default setting. Let me figure out how to change it…
boo hoo…my blog’s not on your list anymore?!?!
LTJ, you are clearly on the short list. I don’t know how that happened. Update pending!
Will the kelly green come back?
I think all the pastel text on the new site is harder to read. The old colors were easier on the eyes.
Thanks, that’s a nice kitten. The new feed looks nice on Livejournal. It picks up the whole entry, including pix, instead of just a few lines. Right now, some of the pix are showing up as broken, though.
I can see the calendar okay, BTW.
